Korean rock band Xdinary Heroes released their sixth studio album, “Beautiful Mind,” on March 24, 2025.

The album explores themes of love, pain, and rebellion- centralizing itself around writer George Orwell’s famous “1984” quote, “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

In the music video released from the album for the title track “Beautiful Life,” fans can see depictions of the band members fighting back against masked figures who appear to be trying to stop them from playing their music and spreading the word about their rebellion, all while posing the question, “What’s real in your reality?”

Fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) have not only been calling the band the “face of rebellion,” but they have also been comparing Xdinary Heroes to other rock icons such as Queen, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore upon the album’s release, praising their newfound rock-orchestra sound that is not only heavily featured in the title track, but throughout the whole album as well.

“… It reminded me of My Chemical Romance, then all of the sudden its Queen,” one X user writes when commenting on “Beautiful Life.” “Their title track is so good and it conveys such a beautiful meaning. I hope it receives so much love.”

Shortly after the album’s release, Xdinary Heroes’ parent company, Studio J, announced that the band would be going on tour starting in May 2025, traveling to the United States for the second time in July– starting off with their performance at Lollapalooza.

In this era of recycled, fast-consuming music, these young guys always have the courage to release something completely unconventional and raise the bar every single time,” says a YouTube commenter under the “Beautiful Life” music video. “What a freaking shiny gem they are!! I’m sooo proud and grateful they exist!!”
