With Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour coming up, I’ve been thinking a lot about what songs I would like to hear her perform. Honestly, Taylor could get on the stage and burp the alphabet for two hours straight and I would be in the stands dancing while crying. However, I came up with a list of 13 songs I would love to hear:
- Lavender Haze
Imagine this: all the lights are off and in the silence, you hear “meet me at midnight.” The crowd goes berserk and Taylor rises from below the stage. I would immediately begin sobbing to be quite honest. - Red
Taylor Swift’s Red Tour was my sister and I’s first concert, so it would be really special to hear “Red” again at this concert with her. - Haunted
I miss the days of the “Speak Now” era when Taylor was extremely theatrical. I want the whole experience, especially seeing her banging on a bell that’s two times bigger than her. - You Belong With Me
This song is a staple of my childhood, and honestly of my adult life too. It truly is an iconic song that has a huge nostalgia factor. - Dress
I want to hear this solely to experience everyone yelling “Taylor!” during the brief pause after the line “Say my name and everything just stops.” - Anti-Hero
I desperately need to experience the crowd yelling “Taylor you’ll be fine!” during the pre-chorus. - Karma
It’s such a fun song to dance to. - Should’ve Said No
I vividly remember screaming this song at 6 years old with the pain of a divorcee that had been cheated on. Honestly, I think that version of myself needs to be let out again, even if it’s just for one night. - Enchanted
Again, I miss the theatrics of the “Speak Now” era. - New Year’s Day
It’s simply a great song. - Look What You Made Me Do
“Reputation” Taylor was truly iconic and I miss her. Bring back the snakeskin please. - Cruel Summer
We didn’t get a full “Lover” era and I need a taste of what we missed. - Long Live
If Taylor ends the concert with “Long Live,” I will certainly leave Lincoln Financial Field with mascara running down my face.
