The Trading Card Game Club provides Millersville students with the opportunity to play a variety of trading card games.

Founded in 1992, the Trading Card Game Club is open to people of any experience level.

“If anyone out there has been playing a card game for years or hasn’t tried yet but has heard about it and would like to give it a try or just test the waters and see how they are, then they should give the club a try,” says club president Will Brubaker.

He notes that the Trading Card Game Club has “a multitude of beginner decks and intro cards” that are great for new players. They also have many people ready and willing to introduce players to the various trading card games.

At meetings, the club typically plays games such as Pokémon, Lorcana, and Magic: the Gathering, the latter being the most popular, according to treasurer Elias Miller.

Miller also shared that the club is looking forward to hosting a Magic: the Gathering draft, which will include the new cards in the game’s newest set, Ravnica Remastered.

“We also plan to host a game night including their new product Ravnica: Clue edition, which features a combination between the card game and the beloved board game Clue,” added Brubaker.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in SMC 204, above the Galley. Anyone interested in getting involved with the Trading Card Game Club may attend a meeting or find more information at @tcgclubatmu on Instagram.
