FARBO Co, a queer-owned hobby shop located in the heart of Lancaster City, is picking up roots this fall from its Grant St. location. Plans are underway to merge the shop with its sister cafe – the Midnight Oil – to form a singular entity: The General Nerdery. These photos were taken during the final days of retail for the 9 W Grant St. location, and the following week when members of the community gathered to move product into storage.
The General Nerdery’s new location at 39 N Queen St. is slated to open in mid-November. For more information, visit the General Nerdery’s website at www.thegeneralnerdery.gay.
