Millersville’s Campus Life has kept the tradition alive of hosting their yearly Trick or Treat Trail for students. On Friday, Oct. 31, students had the opportunity to visit participating locations across campus from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Campus Life provided pumpkin drawstring bags to early participants to help in their candy collection journey. Students could then go around and visit as many participating locations as they want, with different spots offering different treats, like the Center for Health Education and Promotion giving away candy bags, 3-D printed fidget toys, bat stuffed animals, and more.

Available locations, offices, and clubs during the Trick or Treat Trail included WIXQ 91.7 FM The Ville, the University Store, the Center for Health Education and Promotion, Campus Life, and more.

Kevin Lynch, station manager at WIXQ 91.7 FM The Ville, welcomed Trick or Treaters as they visited the WIXQ lounge.

“I enjoy everyone being able to dress up in really creative and fun costumes, especially those that follow the EPPIIC guidelines,” Lynch said. “We’ve currently been airing exclusively Halloween and spooky themed music throughout the day, and that’s been inviting a lot of people to check out our station and see what we have to offer.”

Campus Life had also announced a new event that would follow after the Trick or Treat Trail called the Ooky Spooky Bash. This event took place in the Student Memorial Center Atrium, with the wax hands station being held on the Student Memorial Center Promenade.

Students were welcome to show up following the Trick or Treat Trail to take part in these festivities from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event offered a photobooth, mystery tarot card packs, cake pops and drinks, fall coloring pages, wax hand creations, and exclusive Millersville student engagement coloring books.

Campus Life has hosted the Trick or Treat trail to celebrate Halloween over the past couple of years, so remember to start preparing your most ghoulish looks for next year.
