It was announced in June 2024 that Millersville University is getting a Chick-fil-A on campus.
The Chick-fil-A is currently being worked on this fall semester and is going to be put in where the Galley used to reside. Due to the reconstruction, the Galley is closed, which leaves the Millersville campus with only two main dining halls in the center of campus, the Cove, Evergreen, and Starbucks.
With this new announcement comes some new information as well. As of right now, Chick-fil-A will not be on the meal plan, which means you cannot use a meal swipe to get your meal. The only methods of payment that will be accepted at this restaurant will be Flex, Marauder Gold, cash, and debit/credit card.
It was mentioned in one of the Millersville news blogs that the school has been working on this new update for more than two years. Also stated in the blog is a quote from Millersville’s President, Dr. Daniel A. Wubah saying “This is the next step to diversify student dining options on campus.”
Geoff Beers, CEO of Student Lodging and SSI, also gives some input via the blog on this new Chick-fil-A. “We’re pleased to help bring a new restaurant to Millersville University’s campus and the community.”
Make sure to look out for Chick-fil-A as it will be coming in the spring of 2025.
