Women’s basketball continues stellar season, PSAC division leaders: Lady Marauders battle to become ranked 24 nationally in Division II
This season, the Millersville women’s basketball team has been on fire. The Lady Marauders are ranked a No. 24 in their division. The team is 5-1 in conference games, and 15-4 overall.
The Marauders have worked hard to get where they are this season. They currently hold top spot in the PSAC Eastern Division rankings. “We put our own pressure on ourselves everyday at practice,” said coach Mary Fleig. Their hard work has been paying off.
Baseball team optimistic about upcoming season
With the start of the 2010 baseball season just two weeks away the team has high expectations. Jon Shehan is entering his third year as the Marauders head coach, and has the most experienced roster yet. The team is set to return five position starters and all six starting pitchers.
