A new sport is currently sweeping colleges nationwide. The sport is a little bit unorthodox. It requires seven team members, four balls of three different sizes, and seven brooms. If you haven’t already guessed, the sport in question is quidditch, the game invented by novelist J.K. Rowling for her successful “Harry Potter” series.
Persistent and creative; these are just two of the words Dr. Chris Erickson uses to describe the Human Powered Submarine Team. “Stick to it; that’s us,” He said.
Men’s and women’s indoor track and field competed at the Bucknell Winter Classic on Saturday, Feb. 13. After setting several school records last meet, Millersville students had an impressive act to follow and they left quite a mark yet again. Kim Stokes tied the school record at the pole vault, with a height of 3.05 meters. The Millersville University team left Bucknell with many of our own students qualifying to compete in the PSAC championships.
