I am graduating in May; and, in lieu of anything philosophical or summative, I want to be practically honest with you—for I think that is my most significant contribution. Too many students graduate without having been honest about their concerns and hopes.
One of my favorite songs is “Closing Time” by Semisonic. Besides it bringing back memories of singing at the top of my lungs at Jacks, it also has a verse that strikes me as meaningful: “Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.”
Superfest is here again. This is a three day fun-filled event, that starts on Thursday, April 16 and goes on until Saturday, April 18.
