“Only a Girl” recreates the somber reality of the past
During World War II, Adolf Hitler devised the “Final Solution” that would result in the extermination of about six million Jewish, Roma, Polish, handicapped and other people of minorities. This holocaust was a bleak and tragic period in history that will forever weigh heavily on the hearts and souls of those that survived and the families of those that did not. From April 14 to April 16, Millersville University hosted the 30th Annual Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide, sponsored by Amnesty International, Millersville Chapter and the Millersville University History Club.

The series has so far spoke of things like “Reframing Justice,” Reframing Good and Evil,” and “Reframing” different aspects of autism. Last week’s film was another installment of “Reframing Autism” and was shown on March 18 at 7:00 p.m. in McComsey’s Myers Auditorium. This film was presented by Thomas Newville of the Special Education department. The movie titled “Mozart and the Whale,” released in 2005 and directed by Peter Naess, is a story about an individual named Donald Morton played by actor Josh Hartnett.

Trevor Hershey art inspired by aboriginies
Modern art can confuse even the most educated of Western culture.
It very rarely moves something within the viewer to nod in understanding or feel the remnants of the emotion or idea that the artist is trying to convey.
The feeling that a canvas with simply a black dot on a white background should not be considered art is mutual for many. However, as it is with all things, the unexpected can arise.
