Play spells out for laughs: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee involves the audience in a very unique way.
The world of competitive spelling might not seem H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S to most people, but those people probably have not seen “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Millersville’s All Campus Musical Organization (ACMO) performed the play this past weekend in the SMC MPR.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, twin sisters Tegan and Sara Quin have been creating expertly crafted songs about love and loss for more than 10 years, and are finally starting to get mainstream recognition. They began making music as PLUNK in 1997, before changing their moniker to the more accessible Tegan and Sara. After recording a few demo tapes, their first album, ‘Under Feet Like Ours’ was self-released in 1999.
Movie review: Twilight and New Moon, attracts many hardcore fans of book and movie series
“Twilight” was shown recently at Club De ‘Ville on February 12, and “New Moon” was shown on February 13.
I know I’m risking the wrath of all the Twihards out there, but I have to say it: “Twilight” wasn’t good, and “New Moon” wasn’t much better.

Precious Jones is beautiful and famous, with fabulous clothes and a gorgeous boyfriend.
Then she opens her eyes.
Directed by Lee Daniels, “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” centers around a Harlem teenager, overweight and unable to read, who is the victim of unspeakable abuses at the hands of her mother, Mary, played by the comedian Mo’Nique.
