Filtered Memories exhibit brings past to life through Sun Young Kang’s art work
The work of Sun Young Kang is currently on display at the Ganser Gallery in Millersville’s Ganser Library. Her exhibit “Filtered Memories,” opened on January 26 and will run through February 25. In addition to her gallery exhibition, Kang will present a gallery talk on February 25 at 5 p.m. The free exhibit is also open to the public, allowing the entire community to come together and enjoy the award winning artist’s latest display.

The Millersville University Swing Club, also known at the Cool Cats Swing club is a dance club on campus that was introduced in the fall of 2003, the swing club is currently made up of eleven members and eight performers, but all students and faculty on campus are urged to join because they believe anyone can learn to dance if they are willing to try.

MUGC welcomes new members with open arms
The Millersville University Gospel Choir (MUGC) is the perfect group to join for anyone looking to express themselves through singing. The MUGC has approximately 20 members, both male and female. MUGC President, Amanda Patterson, Vice President Karnesa Ray and Treasurer Irvin Rivera all welcome new members. The group meets once a week on Wednesday evening from 9p.m. to 11p.m. in room 210 of Chryst Hall.
Millersville’s got more than just talent
Last Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, the many talented students of Millersville University showcased their skills at The Public Relations Student Society of America’s first annual Millersville’s Got Talent competition. The program showcased a variety of talents from students all over Millersville University.

On Sunday, October 12, 2008, the Millersville University Music Department held their faculty recital called “Paris and the Prairie.” The crowded Lyte Auditorium was filled with audience members showing their support for Dr. Debra Lessen as well as other faculty members of Millersville University.
Stimulating fall line-up in store for Film Club
The Film Club, also known as MU Ciné Club, offers Millersville University students a forum for which they can watch and discuss cinema. Founded five years ago, The Film Club’s mission is to help the Millersville University community think critically about many of different aspects of film. The club selects a different focus each semester around a theme, director, or genre.
