Pushing its way to the top of the box-office
Walking into the theatre, I was really excited for the movie Push. But to my demise, the movie started out slow. It was hard to swallow all the surreal things people could do. The movie starts off with young Nick, the main character being advised by his dad.
An evening of Latino performing arts
The Ford Auditorium was filled with the sounds of Latin music on Feb. 9, sponsored by the Latino Studies Program. The evening started with the remembrance of Dr. Rosario Caminero; she was given the Latino Studies Award. Dr. Marco Antolin took the stage with a poem called “The Traveler”.
Two thumbs up for Paul Blart in Mall?Cop
Paul Blart was your ordinary Segway riding mall cop, until one night it all changed. Blart is unable to get into the New Jersey State Police so he settles for the next best thing, the West Orange Pavilion Mall. Always dedicated, Blart keeps the mall secure until one night he encounters some skateboarding thugs that are trying to take over the mall.
The sound of the season
On Sunday November 23, Lyte auditorium was filled with the music of the Sonic Synergy Concert. The concert included an orchestra, concert band, and wind ensemble. The program opened with From Tropic to Tropic. The audience was then entertained with Jubilant Holiday, which was an assortment of holiday favorites played by the Celestial Brass.
Give me silicon and chainsaws
On September 5 Millersville University welcomed Mad Chad Taylor to the Student Memorial Center. Millersville students have been anticipating him coming for some time now. The wait was finally over and the audience was not disappointed by his performance.
