Ending marks a new beginning
One of my favorite songs is “Closing Time” by Semisonic. Besides it bringing back memories of singing at the top of my lungs at Jacks, it also has a verse that strikes me as meaningful: “Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.”
Postseason hopes fade for lacrosse
Time is running out for the Women’s lacrosse team to turn their season around. Losing four in a row, the team dug a hole that will be hard to crawl out of.
Weekly hits the century mark
Junior Elizabeth Weekly went on a scoring spree Sunday afternoon leading the women’s lacrosse team to a 17-2 victory over Seton Hill. Her first goal of the game not only boosted the Marauders closer to victory but was also her 100th career goal. She went on to score four more goals putting her career total at 104.
Few but determined protest Ayers
Signs were displayed last Thursday, March 19, outside of the SMC to protest Bill Ayers visit to Millersville University, where he gave a speech on Urban education.

In this years pre season polls the Marauders were picked to tie for third with the Warriors. Last Wednesday, East Stroudsburg had the upper hand beating MU 16-15 in the final two minutes of play.

A weekend of personal bests for track
It was a big weekend for the Millersville men’s and women’s indoor track teams. With meets held on both Friday and Saturday the athletes had multiple opportunities to showcase their abilities.
Run a mile (or 60) in Brittney Zuver’s shoes
The practice of running is hard work, even for Millersville track athlete Britney Zuver. The junior was talked into participating in track after she ran one of the fastest female mile times in her eighth grade class.
No check? No diploma
I am proud to say that I have almost successfully completed (100 days to go!) my college education in four years. When it is all said and done I will have paid MU just a little over $40,000.
