With the fall semester winding down and the Christmas Season picking up, there’s no better way to finish the semester than with the Cabaret: Christmas Show held at the Ware Center on Friday, December 13th. This year, the Cabaret: Christmas Show is featuring Erin Cruise, a Billboard Top 100 artist. Erin Cruise is a singer/songwriter who was born in Indiana in 1962. Her music career began very early when, after getting a 45 of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walkin” at three years old, she would dance around the house to it. However, her real music career began when, at 10 years old, her parents bought her a piano, and she began to play and compose. Erin’s hit song, “Cold Shower,” became a long strived for Billboard Top 100, clocking in at #90. This song sold over 60,000 copies at stayed at #90 for seven weeks. In 1992, Erin sang with a live band for the first time and realized how much she truly loved the rush of the experience. In 2002, as Erin began to go through a divorce, she really cemented herself as a singer in the Harrisburg/York area of Pennsylvania. It was here that she formed the still rising variety/ dance band, known locally for being a successful cover band. Both prior to and after her performance at the Ware Center, Erin has many gigs set up all across Pennsylvania.
Cabaret: Christmas Show with Erin Cruise will be held at 7:30 on Friday, December 13 at the Ware Center in Lancaster City. This event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office or by visiting Millersville’s website. Tickets cost $25 for general admission or $5 with a Millersville ID.
