The record breaking weekend proves the team’s mettle.

The Millersville women’s track and field team was met with a series of personal and seasonal bests, as well as a broken school records at last weekend’s Bucknell Winter Classic.
The meet was an especially impressive showing for freshman Erin Madison who set not only her own personal best in the 400-meter dash, but set the Millersville record for the 500-meter dash.
Madison recorded a time of 1:18.84 in the 500-meter dash, and posted 1:01.50 during her 400-meter race. But she was only 1 of 4 marauders who managed to set new person bests during the Classic.
Runner Sarah Fink recorded her own personal best in the mile race with a posted time of 5:37.01, she placed 29th. Senior Mallory Austin earned her own personal best in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:47.77, earning her 24th place in the race.
Kiara Allen also set a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a finishing personal best time of 26.96; this earned her an 8th place finish. Allen also set her seasonal best in the 60-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 7.92.
On February 15, the ladies will travel to the Susquehanna Invitational in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. This will be the last meet before PSAC Championships begin.
