Thanks for passing on the positive comments, Joe! We’re definitely working hard to get the experience even friendlier and richer for all users with each release.

It would be interesting to see what version of Bb PASSHE was using and evaluated. There is a definite trend amongst WebCT clients in moving away from Blackboard. Of course Blackboard could mean Bb Classic, Bb 9, WebCT or Angel.

I’ve worked on PASSHE Bb support – they have a number of customizations and I believe they’re on Bb 8 (not 100% sure – it’s been a year) – It’s a big change – features aren’t everything – D2L is being used by UW (university of wisconsin) system as well and faculty is not thrilled but it was a higher up decision – they reminisce about good old Bb days …

I think Millersville should have changed the e-mail system before it changed BB. BB what fine. yea, it might not have be as simple to navigate… but it wasn’t hard and it worked.
the mail portal on the other hand… sucks!! It deletes stuff halfway through typing, it is not easy to organize, you can’t see more than a few e-mail addresses at a time. BB was fine. And D2L is fine. Now it is time to change our e-mail portal. PLEASE!
