An in-depth look at Darfur
Gretchen Steidle Wallace will speak on April 14 on her work in Chad involving the refugees in Darfur. The film The Devil Came on Horseback will be shown and afterwards Wallace will speak. The event will take place in the Bolger Conference Center of Lehr Dining Room from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Awards evening
On April 16, various rooms of Gordinier Hall will host the Second Annual Distinguished Civic Leadership Awards Evening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free, but tickets are required. Nomination forms can be found at www.millersville.edu/~ccerp, call 717-872-3049 for more information.
Arts conference
On April 17, McComsey Hall will host the Student Research and Visual &?Performing Arts Conference from 4:30 p.m.-10 p.m. The conference will feature former NASA?astronaut Dr. Donald Thomas as a keynote speaker.
