Gordinier and Gordy’s will be closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 because of the William Ayer’s campus visit.

Log on to www.thesnapper.com to read a live blog on the William Ayer’s lecture on urban education on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. Anyone with internet access can log on and read about the sold out lecture as it unfolds.

Wellness Week 2009
Wellness Week will be held March 23 – 27.  Events will focus on spiritual, environmental, physical, social and emotional wellness. Events are sponsored by the Wellness Center, the Student Health and Wellness committee, and Peer Health Educators.

Free help to quit smoking
The MU Tobacco Control project and Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) are holding free tobacco cessation programs for students and faculty.
The program included one-on-one coaching,  two months of free nicotine replacement therapy, and educational resources. Student workshops will be held March 23, 30 and April 6 from 8 to 9 p.m. in SMC room 44. Staff and faculty sessions will be held March 25, April 1, 8 and 15 from noon to 1 p.m. in SMC room 49.
