Two thumbs up for Paul Blart in Mall?Cop

By Cristy Bedolla on February 11, 2009

Paul Blart was your ordinary Segway riding mall cop, until one night it all changed. Blart is unable to get into the New Jersey State Police so he settles for the next best thing, the West Orange Pavilion Mall. Always dedicated, Blart keeps the mall secure until one night he encounters some skateboarding thugs that are trying to take over the mall. As they block all the doors and round up some hostages, Paul Blart is seen calming his stress from a hard day’s work by playing guitar hero at the game store. Long after, he realizes that the mall is empty and goes to see what’s going on. He realizes that his daughter and sweetheart are being held hostage by the robbers. Having low blood sugar is an obstacle for Blart: He has to sacrifice his sanity and eat a garbage covered lollypop to recover and gain back his energy to continue trying to save the mall. Paul Blart: Mall Cop is packed of action scenes that cause you to fall on the floor laughing. Even after no one believed that he could save the mall, the donut eating cop was able to surpass every obstacle and even do what the SWAT team could not do: rescue the hostages and save the mall. This movie shows how one man’s determination can overcome even the fastest thief. A family-friendly movie filled with action, adventure, comedy and even romance, this movie has it all. I will never see a mall cop the same way again.
