Festivities to benefit students
Millersville University food service is sponsoring the first annual gingerbread house decorating contest. It is open to students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community. To participate, entrants must be registered by Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. All entries for judging are due to the food service department in Gordinier Hall on Dec. 2 and will be received between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. only. Judging will be conducted on Dec. 4. Winning houses will be sold at a silent auction that will be held at the Glorious Sounds of the Season concert on Dec. 6 and 7. The proceeds will benefit the Glorious Sounds Scholarship for music students.
VDAY looks for volunteers
Vday organizers are looking for volunteers to help in the Vagina Monologue production. The production is focused on ending sexual violence aimed at women and embracing the role of women.
